Dear Friend,
Thank you for being an integral part of our community.
As we begin to re-open our building and offer in-person programming and services (while also continuing our online programming), your support of our community is as important as ever. Together, we can successfully navigate these uncharted territories while sustaining our role as leaders in the Harrisburg Jewish Community.
With your help, we have:
- Offered online programming to thousands of participants during the pandemic and taken a leadership role in safety, security, and guidance amongst all Jewish agencies in Harrisburg.
- Reopened our Brenner Family Early Learning Center programming and created the new Summer Break at the J program -- allowing us to continue to educate and entertain our community’s children in a Jewish setting – as well as began to host a Kosher Grab-N-Go food program to help feed children in our region. We also began a limited reopening of our fitness center on July 6, and as of the printing of this letter operations are running smoothly.
- Carefully planned and considered strategies, ideas, projects, and actions for future offerings for our community, as well as long-term sustainability of our organization.
All of these plans and initiatives need your financial support to keep moving forward. The pandemic has affected many organizations financially – the Federation included. We ask that you give generously to support the work that we do in our community. Your gift supports Jewish life in Harrisburg and allows our community to thrive and grow.
