It’s been a long year. So why not celebrate its end?
As we approach the end of the school year and budget year for many organizations, Beth El Temple and Kesher Israel are bringing the community together for a delicious Kosher Food Truck Celebration on Sunday, May 30 from 11am – 5pm.
“It’s a good way to celebrate the end of our budget year,” says Bill Walter, Beth El Executive Director. “We are excited to renew a new year of hope, get outdoors, and be able to celebrate with great food and the Jewish community.”
Beth El and Kesher Israel have both held in-person services. This is the first time that they’ve collaborated for an event together. Food will be provided by Around the Truck Catering, a Lehigh-Valley based food truck.
“There’s nothing like a good food truck,” says Bill, who is looking forward to enjoying his favorites, shawarma and falafel. “Hopefully this helps ease the community into doing things safely together and seeing each other’s faces again.”
In addition, food options include veggie gyros, tofu shawarma, pareve chicken sandwiches, Israeli chocolate pita sandwiches, and more.
The event is open to all with walk-up, food-for-purchase items available by cash only. Masks and social distancing will be enforced.
Attendees must pre-register to Patty Brown at patty@bethelhbg.org by sending email address, phone number, and desired time slot:
